We are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

What you’ll do

  • Develop & Modify: lead the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development. Create and modify system management tools for monitoring/alerting and manage environments in different Azure subscriptions (internal and clients)
  • Automation: lead the automation efforts to reduce time to delivery for new builds and managing existing environments
  • Investigate: acting as a point of escalation, lead investigations, impact assessment, concluding root cause and remediation
  • Environment Enhancements: the expert in identifying and designing enhancements to existing environments
  • Problem Solving: acting as a point of escalation for the engineering team to assist with resolving issues
  • Managing Ecosystems and SLA’s: understanding dependencies within a client ecosystem and service level expectations
  • Monitoring: lead the designing and enhancing the Managed Services monitoring and alerting environments
  • Collaborate: work with our software development and BI team(s) to design, enhance and ensure adherence to core architecture standards

What you’ll need

  • Degree in Computer Science & or Information Technology related field; or related/equivalent experience
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Deployment using Azure Devops required
  • Experience with security and networking best practices in Azure required
  • Experience with Databases
  • Experience being part of a technical application delivery team diagnosing technical problems
  • 4 years of hands on experience with Azure
  • Good verbal & written skills in English
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, understand, and deliver detailed technical documentation
  • Demonstrable experience in coding and or scripting with Python, Shell or other languages is required
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, or Ansible
  • Microsoft Certifications (70-532, -533, -534) preferred

What you’ll use

  • Infra structure as code for Azure services such as datafactory, azure sql server, function apps, logic apps, vnets, application gateways, datalake, docker, app services, Synapse, keyvault, databricks, etc.
  • Devops (CI/CD, Agile planning, repos)
  • Powershell, ARM templates, Python scripts
  • Azure monitoring and Alerting, auditing tools
  • Microsoft Defender

Bonus points if you

  • Have previously fully automated complex infrastructures in Azure
  • Have experience in hardening (security wise) azure services
  • Worked with multitenant setups
